Emulsionante aniónico de origen vegetal para preparar emulsiones del tipo aceite en agua (O/W),capaz de producir emulsiones por sí mismas sin necesidad de incorporar ningún cuerpo graso o agente emulsionante. Se absorben por la piel sin dar sensación grasa, adecuado para todos los tipos de piel. Usado para realizar cremas y lociones. Admite un pH comprendido entre 5 y 9.Punto de fusión: 48-52ºC.
